Krista Ruby rocks the track for LaBici in 2010

Here is Krista doing a Madison workout at the Forest City Velodrome. This girl travels to London weekly to practice and make sure she is on the top of her game. That is a lot of travelling and a lot of asking friends and family in London for a nights stay. That is what it takes to be the best and it won't take her long with this kind of commitment to training, her time in traffic, extra money spent on gas and effort it takes just to get to the track. Proud to have her back racing for us in 2010!

Brian Lee...... Baby!

Forget about Bruce Lee, Tommy Lee, Jet Li..........we have Brian Lee!! POW! Brian is a great team mate and one of the nicest guys in the peloton. We are proud to have you back in 2010! Watch out for Brian and the entire LaBicicletta M1 Elite team this year......we have put together a quite the squad! Check out the picture above. That guy barely holding Brian's wheel rides for us too! He's pretty mean on a cross bike and he is rippin in up in Europe right now! Do you recognize him?

Have you been by laBicicletta recently? The store is quite a bit different now and we will be working on making it a whole lot nicer in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for a grand re-opening in the new year. On this video I actually have extremely rare footage of Heath doing manual labor!! Enjoy!

Kyle Rupay - Track update

I got word that Mr Kyle Rupay had quite the race on Saturday night down in London.
Kyle raced in the open age group and did well. He fought hard and never gave an inch.
He took a third, another third and missed the final 145 lap feature by one place in his semi final.(7th)
He was the youngest to get that far.

Here is the quote from the press release.

"In the semi final things began to heat up as some Juniors were sprinkled in by their performance in the heats. Young racer Kyle Rupay from Peterborough, soon became a crowd favourite. Kyle dangled off the back of the first Semi and continued to show guts and determination as lap after lap he got dropped and caught back on when the pace slowed. Although Kyle didn’t make it to the Final, he was always on the radar of the fans who appreciated his effort."

Next race is the Ont. Madison Championships on Dec. 12th.

Guess who's back? Mr David Jack!!

We are very proud to announce that David jack will be returning to race on our M1 squad next year. He is an extremely talented time trialist with an extensive cycling back round and we know David will be looking to regain his form from a few years back and when he does Ontario.....watch out!!
