Indoor training at the shop

Last year we trained at the shop every Tuesday and Thursday night and we are going to do the same thing this off-season. The indoor classes are open to anyone who is looking for a great workout and would like to train with the team. Most nights go for about an hour with the odd night going an extra half hour. The training sessions are led by one of our team members and please expect to be pushed a bit.
Sessions cost $10 and you have to make sure to reserve a space each night.
Stay tuned for start date and time......

Durham Classic

For all of you who decided to skip this little race.............Great call!
It was a perfect day, sunny, cool, a little wind and I decided instead of enjoy these beautiful conditions and ride on perfect clean roads to try my first cyclo-cross race. Well it was an experience I'll tell you that. Here are some pics to give you an idea of just how muddy this course was (and it got worse and worse every lap)

If you want a laugh, check out my results http://www.ontariocycling.org/web_pages/results/77oca09_1.html

Paulo Telisman

Here is a picture from Paul's trip to Italy recently. He sent me a picture of his bike (whoopy do!) and one of him and some crazy Italian background( Yawn! ) but when I saw this one I knew I had to post it. Here is Paul and his beautiful 94yr old grandma! What a cutie! Thanks for the pics dude! and thanks for being an amazing team mate the last two years! Not only have you been a great team mate you have helped the shop and the club immensely and I'm not sure if you know how much we appreciate it! I have tried to no avail to keep Paul racing with us next year but I'm going to keep trying. He says he needs a break and I say............(well lets leave it at that) When you see Paul give him a hard time and make sure to give him your two sense on his little retirement. Please let him know he is loved and needed on our team and has a spot on it next year if he changes his mind.
